| Use the best
Antivirus program you can buy. We recommend Norton
Antivirus from Symantec for both the client and server. Tests have
shown and our experience agrees that they do the best job keeping
viruses and worms at bay. |

|
| Use an Anti
Trojan software. Most people miss this one but there are a lot

Block
Access to your Computer, use a Firewall. Close ports that are
not being used. The best software firewall that we've seen is Zone
Alarm from Zone Labs. It lets you know if someone is trying to
access your computer or if your computer is trying to report
information to someone. |

Favorite Graphics Program for designing static drawings and short
gif animations is Corel |

|
| Flash has changed the look
of the Web. A word of caution, using Flash or heavy
animation over a slow connection can cause the surfer to click away
before they get to see your great graphics. Be sure animation is
important to your customer. Having said that, definitely we recommend
Macromedia for Flash |

| Microsoft is still bad at
writing instruction manuals. No one seems to know
why. They certainly have the money to hire good writers. One
guess is that they're using programmers as writers to make things
needlessly complex. Anyway, these people can help. |
